The Atlanta Braves will send Spencer Strider to the mound this afternoon for the series finale against the Toronto Blue Jays. First pitch is scheduled for 1:07 PM EDT and can be seen on the FanDuel Sports Network. Strider’s long-anticipated return has been closely followed, and all signs point to the Braves’ ace being back to form. He impressed in his rehab starts and now looks to anchor the rotation once again.

Toronto will counter with veteran right-hander Chris Bassitt, who enters the game with a 1-0 record, a stellar 0.98 ERA, and 21 strikeouts over 18.1 innings pitched this season. However, one Braves hitter to watch closely is Bryan De La Cruz, who has had strong success against Bassitt in the past. In 10 career at-bats, De La Cruz is batting .600 with a home run and a 1.836 OPS. It will be something to pay attention to, if the Braves puts him in today's lineup.

Atlanta’s offense has shown signs of life, and today presents an opportunity to build momentum. With their ace back on the mound, the Braves hope to deliver a strong all-around performance and head home with a series win.
